Tap to fly. Find the gap. Try again — with one twist: the buddy in the sky can be your own photo.

Buddy Flight is still in closed development and testing. There is nothing to install yet; a public release on Google Play is coming.

How it plays

Your photo, your buddy

Take a picture or pick one from your phone, crop it, and let the automatic cutout lift your friend, your pet or yourself out of the background. Tidy the edges by hand with erase and restore, then fly.

Easy to start, hard to put down

One tap keeps you in the air. Fly through the gaps and count every one, then beat your own best score. Ten hand-made scenes unlock as your score climbs, and flights work without a connection too.

Friends and challenges

Sign in with Google Play Games to add friends and send a challenge link from a scored flight. Your friend flies at the same target and answers with a flight of their own — everybody flies solo, in their own time.

Daily, weekly, all-time

Compare scores with your friends or with everyone playing. Flights made offline still count towards your own best score on the phone.

Privacy by design

The photo is the point, so it is handled carefully

  • The cutout is made on your phone. The original photo never leaves it.
  • If you choose to share your buddy online, only the cutout is sent — never the original.
  • Every new cutout starts Private. Saving one does not upload anything.
  • A shared cutout is checked before anyone can see it.
  • You pick Private, Friends or Global, and can change that choice at any time.
  • You can delete the cutout from the server, or the whole account, from inside the app.
